Dani Pearce is an Australian Writer/Director.
Her work has been described as ambitious and inventive – ideologically ruminating most distinctly on womanhood, body politics, systems of power and invisible disability. Dani’s work has been identified by IndieWire as being defined by “her stunning, signature style.”

Dani is the recipient of Shots New Director of the Year 2021 & 2022, LIA Best New Director 2019 and winner of Gold at Berlin’s Ciclope 2019 for New Talent in Direction. In 2020 Dani was the only Australian director invited to the Sundance Film Festival Short Film Competition.
Dani is currently nearing the completion of her debut feature screenplay, developing a series and producing video art work for exhibition. Further, she is writing a collection of essays titled of BODY OF WORK – set to be complete in 2023.
Further to this, Dani directs commercials and is represented by Revolver (Sydney) and Henry (Paris) respectively.
